Thun - City of Castles and the Alps

Thun is the eleventh-largest city in Switzerland. Scenically located at the gateway to the Alps, the city has an historic old town with beautiful buildings and squares dominated by the imposing Zähringer Castle. Thun's multitude of shops, many sidewalk cafés and different restaurants offer a hint of Paris. If you are looking for something unusual, rare or typically Swiss, you will certainly find it in the streets of the old town. Thun's gastronomy is just as varied and has restaurants to suit every taste.

There is always something happening in Thun, day or night.
